This Sunday, we’re packing up and heading down south – far south! I am so excited to be spending our break in Cancun this year. As I was putting my suitcase together, I began to see a bit of a theme emerge in my color scheme. Somehow, despite my best efforts otherwise, I always wind up with blue and white, blue and white, & blue and white. What’s a girl to do?
With spring break right around the corner, I’ve found it extremely difficult to focus on just about anything but vacation. This year, we’re headed to Cancun, and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve never been there before, but I am extremely eager to explore new territory. Our third day, we drove out to a state park to see Lake Michigan and do some hiking. There, we found great views, dozens of waterfalls, and beautiful trails. We ended the day with a few beers at a brewery on the way home. Boy, did that hit the spot!
When life sends you a snow storm, you buckle on your boots and go play.
On rainy days like today, it takes everything in my being to not drop the day’s agenda, curl up by a window with some tea, and spend the whole day reading. Usually I don’t actually follow through, but today I just couldn’t resist.
If you’re a student like me, you’re most likely experiencing the post Christmas break blue. This past weekend, you probably packed up your things from home, and moved back to school. You’re first day might have entailed ice skating through a frozen campus to get to your classes, all the while praying you didn’t slip, fall, and ruin your new (fill in the blank) that you just got for Christmas.
