Fun Fact: Fourth of July is my third favorite holiday (and, yes, I do in fact have my favorite holidays ranked in order)! This Sunday, we’re packing up and heading down south – far south! I am so excited to be spending our break in Cancun this year. Our third day, we drove out to a state park to see Lake Michigan and do some hiking. There, we found great views, dozens of waterfalls, and beautiful trails. We ended the day with a few beers at a brewery on the way home. Boy, did that hit the spot!
When life sends you a snow storm, you buckle on your boots and go play.
On rainy days like today, it takes everything in my being to not drop the day’s agenda, curl up by a window with some tea, and spend the whole day reading. Usually I don’t actually follow through, but today I just couldn’t resist.
