The Ivy Leagues

Do ivy covered walls give anyone else chills, or is it just me?

It’s always been a dream of mine to own a red brick home covered in vibrant climbing ivy, like this here. There’s something so beautiful about a building that reveals its antique life simply by its facade. Not only do these layers of ivy accentuate this establishment’s mature age, they brings with it a sense of affinity. I’m not really sure what’s more homey than that.

This J.Crew skirt is a staple in my closet, and one of the easiest items to wear. It can be dressed up or worn casually, and the best part is that it has pockets that actually fit your phone (or candies).

I love just about anything with a bow or two, which makes this shirt so fun to throw on. Unfortunately, this one in particular is long gone. But luckily for me, my favorite stores seem to appreciate a good bow just as much as I do. I particularly love this sweater, this festive top, and this blouse from J.Crew!

This skirt is the perfect go to for all your Christmas party needs. If you’re going for a dressed up look for the holidays, I’d go with the mini skirt in black paired with some classic plaid such as this fabulous blouse or this tank. Top the look off with some festive yet comfortable block heels, and you’ve got yourself a downright jolly holiday outfit!

I love your outfit! I’ve also been loving J. Crew lately, especially their holiday collection. I recently purchased a classic crewneck sweater in the Deep Jade color from J. Crew Factory and found it goes with absolutely everything (and bonus…it’s comfortable!) I hope you had a merry Christmas!

J.Crew really does have a knack for the holidays, don’t they? And their sweaters will last you a lifetime! I hope your purchase treats you well, and that you had a very Merry Christmas as well!
